This program is unusable if your home folder is in a non-standard location. In my case, my apps and system are on an SSD and my home folder is on an HDD. This program requires you to select your home folder as a first step, but if you select your home folder (and it is not on the same partition as the system), the program tells you that you have not selected a valid home folder and the program cannot continue.

Some of these reviews are clearly fake. Just wanted to point that out…

This app really helps me to uninstall my app. If you try this app, uninstalling apps will become much more easily. And it is safe to use this app to uninstall other apps. Awesome app.

This little application is quite important for me. With it it’s more easy to remove unwanted apps in a safe and complete way. The tool is straightforward, easy and works like a charm.

If you want to uninstall apps easily, you could use this one to remove them. They say it is not necessary to use uninstaller in Mac, but it is better to use one.

It keeps saying the folder i chose isn’t the home folder (even though it is…) Total waste of money

Well, it is quite easy to unintall an app from Launchpad, but it is limited to the apps only purchased from App Store. Some apps downloaded driectly from Developers’ website without uninstaller integrated are difficult to remove completely from your Mac system. This is why I need Uninstaller. Unlike all-in-one Mac cleaner apps (sometimes system cleaning will also delete important system files), Uninstaller only removes unwanted apps, won’t harm your Mac system. UI improved? Sorry, you could do better. To HobokenAce, plese try to select your username folder (Finder sidebar, a little house icon) as your Home Folder.

This apllication is simple as pie to use. just drag the app you want removed to the drop box and away it goes. Awesome!

One; still makes you delete files by hand which is what I wanted to avoid. I’m not an idiot, I could have done that myself, especially considering my next point. Two; it doesn’t find everything related to an app. I know that someone was complaining it couldn’t find all the parts for apps that aren’t from the app store, but it can’t find all the parts for apps that are from the app store either. I’m trying to remove Logic and it didn’t find the vast majority of content. I tested a few other apps and it couldn’t find all the data for them either. Overall; don’t listen to the 4 and 5 star reviews like I did. Please save yourself; if at least one person doesn’t buy the app because of my review then I’ll consider my 4$ cancelled out and feel a little better about wasting my money. Hey, at least I found a free uninstaller that I could use to remove this app completely.

This app is good and does its job. It consistently finds the odd bit of files that remain after a typical uninstall. Some reviewers did not like the fact that on occasion it would direct you to additional files that needed to be removed by hand. This whole extra step takes maybe 10 seconds. So that does not bother me at all. My only complaint is that for $3.99 it’s not worth it. This feels like a polished $0.99 app.

The main problem i have with the app is that if one had enough tech experience then they could easily delete the file them selves. What is being paid for is the convience to skip the manual work. For me it was not truly worth the $4 to get this app maybe $2 max. It does its job well so if price is no issue and less manual labor important to you buy this app away.

Have been using this app for awhile. A must have to keep you Mac clean of orphaned files. I have tried several of these types of apps and this is the one I decided to pay for and support.

like the title, the program was just saying the selected folder is not my home folder, but actually that was. Not working.

I installed a 3rd party app, that bordered on malware. At least it didn’t allow me any control of it, intent to provide pop-up ads. On my Windows Computers I use Revo Uninstaller Pro, which by the way is outstanding. While I did not expect Uninstaller to be a replacement for Revo Unistaller Pro, I did expect to be able to reference a partially removed app in some way so uninstaller could do the rest. Sorry, it doesn’t work that way. Unistaller wants me to direct it to the offending application. I partially uninstalled the application. The only thing left are the invasive pieces I cannot find. No help there. I am asking for a refund. I am not angry with uninstaller, it doesn’t quite write about its limitations other than being self-congratulatory.

The app has a really good design that helped me to use all the features easier. It works really well, to me, when I tried to delete an online game that I downloaded on the internet. It wiped out the whole thing, did not leave any spare files that connected to it, freed up my space alot. The best uninstaller for mac!

It really an amazing app. I cannt believe I had so many unnecessary files on my macbook, especially the game update files. I cannt be completely removed it ago, now the problem finally be improved. Besides I also wouldnt worry about legacy residues of useless programs. Love it so much. Highly recommend.

I recently downloaded a file online that sucked up all my memory. Wanting to delete the app, I quickly downloaded this app and if cleared every single KB of space that the game took up! It’s a great app and it’s the only app I use to uninstall apps on my computer. As our computers general ‘Trash’ ‘folder’ doesn’t completely remove every single bit of KB on it!

The app didnt uninstall anything for me when I went thru the process. Perhaps Im a special case, but that was my personal experience.

Avoid this app. I wasted my money. It opens and then always hangs on a black screen. Buggy and worthless. No supprt or help from this company.

Doesn’t work whit Mac 10.11.3, don’t waste your money…:(
