Cannot be installed

I have received an update and it nags me constantly to install it, but when I try, it tells me to close the uninstaller application. Well, it IS closed. The update itself claims it will close the app if I just press “Continue”. I do to no avail: The same message pops up again. I wrote to the company in November last year and the problem still persists
